Mission for the role
Bring Creative Lift's client projects to life visually — producing polished graphic design and expertly edited video content that helps churches and nonprofits communicate their mission clearly, professionally, and consistently across platforms.
Outcomes
- Deliver finished graphic design assets (branding, print, digital, social) for 3–5 concurrent client projects per month, meeting Creative Lift's brand and quality standards on the first or second review round.
- Edit and deliver client video projects (promotional, testimonial, social, event) from raw footage to final export, on schedule, with minimal revision cycles.
- Serve as a confident, professional point of contact on client calls and email threads for design/video deliverables, representing Creative Lift's tone and quality standards directly to pastors, ministry leaders, and nonprofit staff.
- Establish a repeatable, organized workflow (file naming, asset handoff, version control) that allows projects to move smoothly between Creative Lift's team and the client without bottlenecks.
- Proactively flag scope, timeline, or asset gaps before they become client-facing problems, demonstrating ownership of deadlines without needing reminders.
Core skill competencies
- Graphic Design Mastery — portfolio evidence of strong typography, layout, and brand-system work
- Video Editing Craft — portfolio evidence of pacing, story structure, color/audio cleanup, and platform-appropriate cuts (long-form + short social cuts)
- Dual-Discipline Fluency — genuinely strong in both disciplines, not a designer who "also edits" or an editor who "also designs"
What we look for
- Action Oriented — enjoys working hard and moves projects forward without being pushed
- Follow-Through on Commitments — reliably delivers what was promised, on time
- Organization and Planning — manages multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Communication — clear, professional written and verbal communication, including directly with clients
- Listening — accurately captures client vision and feedback without excessive back-and-forth
- Attention to Detail — does not let small errors reach the client
- Persistence — works through creative or technical obstacles rather than stalling out (maps to Working Genius: Tenacity)
- Initiative — self-starts on tasks and identifies next steps without waiting for direction
- Adaptability — comfortable moving between brand/design work and video work depending on project needs
Culture & fit
- Comfortable working with churches and nonprofits and representing their mission-driven tone accurately
- Works well async and remotely; comfortable on client video calls
- Working Genius of Tenacity (or strong tenacity-like behavior) is a plus signal — this role needs someone who naturally pushes things to the finish line rather than losing steam in the middle
